The weather here in Texas has been warm and sunny all week so I took advantage of it by washing my truck and waxing it with Color-X , it alone left a great shine, but today I had some time to burn so I topped it with a coat of NXT. The NXT made the already great shine seem more dark in color and added a little bit of slickness. This seems to be a great combo and I will definately be using more in the future.

I`ve also used that combo with great results. ColorX has a good cleaning power and leaves a great shinny surface, ready for the NXT finish. :xyxthumbs

What is Color-X? It isnt like that crappy, colored Turtle Wax stuff is it?

It has nothing to do with colored polishes. What Meguiars says is it will bring back the original color, this by means of cleaning off the oxidized paint and restoring the shine.

It`s more of a stronger synthetic cleaner wax.

ColorX sounds like a product for paint in extremely poor shape.

I think it`s more of a Klasse AIO type product, than one for paint in extremely poor shape. But I`m sure it would do a good job on neglected paint, just like aio does.

I think it`s a little stronger than AIO (and smells better ;) )

I tried this combo a few eeks ago, really nice. I wish I had before pics, the paint was pretty bad.

I`m also thinking about this combo. With all this cold weather and snow (snowing right now) I`m getting a little pissed that I cannot use the products I`ve bought so far.

I agree with esbrown1, its kinda hard to see what it looks like if you dont have pics, telling us about it doesnt do much. SO........:showpics

Color X, is about the strongest consumer cleaner wax you can buy off the shelf..It has an excellent chemical cleaner(no abrasives), with polish and a blend of waxes..all in one product..The product is very easy to use..and would work great with NXT...As a matter of fact for the average consumer.1..Wash, 2. Clay, 3. Color X 4. NXT..and your done..Great gloss and protection..in a couple of hour`s worth of work...I can safely say this will be a popular one two punch..
