I am going to clean an interior that has a lot of dust and dirt in it (windows got left cracked during West Texas dirt storm).

I have towels, air compressor, and shop vac to use on this one.

Should I use the air compressor first (on vents, etc) or should I vaccum then use the compressor.

I will finish with a damp wipe down, leather conditioner, and 303.

Thanks guys and gals :)

I would vac/blow/vac .. also You might want to try a dry MF on the radio controls/ dash etc .. I use the Turtle Wax ones for this .. they seem to suck the dust up from the controls very well.

I would not blow anything near the vents. That will only blow crap down inside and the second they turn on the vans they will get hit with a tiny dirt storm.

Well, I was going to try to blow the vents up and down, not really inside the vent. I also planned on turning on the AC when done with the compressor to give it a chance to blow out any lose dirt.

Thanks for the suggestions!

Any others?

For a hardcore dusting, I usually go over it first with a swiffer duster. Picks up a decent amount of junk off the dash. After that I use Scottwax`s woolite mix. Usually does the job, and a damn good one. :p
