In German a trailing "e" is almost always pronounced as an "uh", but that is tryng to remember 35 year old German class at University.

That`s what my first instinct was. I thought I`d better ask before I tried to sell it to someone :D

COOL, this was a question that I had over the weekend. Someone from my Z club was saying KLASS (class). Of course I always thought it was KLA-SAY.

The product is German, not French, so I think the Kla-say would probably get overruled. :)

There can be no concensus. Its not like we can have a democratic vote on the prounounciation of a foriegn word. The word is pronounced `Class-uh` just like mmmph said. If we start letting people vote on the pronounciation of words then we get stuff like Canadiens saying `A-boot` instead of "about" or Bostonians saying "Cah" instead of "Car". There have to be rules! :lol Now, if you`ll all excuse me I`m going to go worsh some carn out by the crick. ;)

I just Americanized it and pronounce it "Class" might neater and easier.

Well maybe its made in Germany but its not sold in Germany as Klasse, so the name is purely for the American market - and as such I`m not convinced that the German pronounciation is appropriate.
