That`s what I`m wondering too. I`ve always heard people say don`t use the pad that comes with the PC. But when I look at the white polishing pads on cma,it looks like the exact same one that came with my ultimate detailing machine from cma... So what`s the deal???

the first time (and only time so far) I used my PC was with the PC white pad to polish my windshield with Zaino glass polish and I *think* it left swirls (or it uncovered existing ones that the previous owner left)

If *I* did it, I`m really not sure why that happened!

I have a few of them and they`re OK to use. There`s nothing special about it. I use them as a general polishing pad when I`m trying a new product that I`m not sure what pad to use. It would be good to use with a cleaner wax or maybe with a product you want to experiment with. I don`t know who makes it for Porter Cable.

I think it rips off the backing plate at high speeds, and the edge of the metal plate can damage the car. As a pad, It`s allright.

I use mine when I do a single step process and do not need to change pads. It is adequate.

Mine fell a part the first time I used it.

All I have used mine for is to set it on a MF to remove things like #26 and #9 etc.
