This week I left my truck at work in the parking lot which is fenced and has around the clock security while I took a company vehicle to a job out of town. When I returned last night I found 2 bullet holes.

What a drag! I wouldn`t have spent last weekend polishing and waxing if I knew this was going to happen.

OMG, so the bullets are in your truck somewhere, or maybe you`ll find an exit point. that really sucks. Surely the security guys would have noticed a gun going off.

I believe the bullets are still in the truck. They did not penetrate the interior, you can`t see an exit point.

One security guard mentioned that he though he heard gunfire, but in that part of town hearing gunfire is a very frequent occurence.

Looks to be a small caliber, off the top of my head it looks like a .22. If the bullets are recovered from the truck, give them to the police. If they have reports of similar problems and make an arrest, the bullets could be helpful to thier case.

Guess it`s time to call the body shop. :(

Yikes! I can`t believe something like that would even happen!

Good luck with the repair and have fun detailing the new paint!

I didn`t think that it could happen either. When I mentioned it to a friend who has worked as an ER doc in the inner city, he told me that I would be surprised if I knew the number of people who are either hurt or killed by stray gunfire.

I think I`d find a new place to work after that.

Glad you were not in your truck when the bullets flew.

Thanks! me too!

It probably happend at 1 or 2 a.m. The truck was only one of a handful of vehicles in a parking lot that stores 1000+ vehicles during the day.
