I`m planning to buy new shoes for my car come this spring with a set of HRE wheels. It`s most likely going to be a polished lip with either a brushed clearcoated centers or painted/clearcoated centers.

Been reading past threads and it seems like the best way to go with cleaning aluminum wheels is just good ole car wash soap & water and also a nice coat of SG.

Granted APC 4:1 or Meguiars Citri-Gel 1:1 is not acid based.........is it safe to use these products without staining the polished parts ?

I`ve got on my spring supplies checklist - Mothers Billet Polish also.

~One man’s opinion / observations~

I can’t fault this process, although brake dust may get to a point when car wash won’t remove it, AIO (+SG afterwards) or P21S Wheel Cleaner (+ AIO) will

~Hope this helps~
