Hey guys.
Just polished up the tips on the beast. Sharing some shots.

Cool. What did you use? My tips were polished originally, so I just use some Meguiar`s All Metal Polish (the pro stuff, not the GC stuff). It works well and is very shiny.

Yeah man, looks sweet! What did you use on that thing? I would love my magnaflow muffler and tip to come out that way. My tip looks just like yours. Stock exhaust?

Hey Guys,
These aren`t the Stock M5 Exhaust. This is a Tubi from Tubistyle.
It is actually a Quad system. So I have two on each side, total 4.
I should have taken a shot further back to show all four.
They were sought of shiny. But had a lot of grinding marks in them. To I sanded them perfectly smooth, and went through the grits to fine, and then repolished them.
I tend them with "Purple" Metal polish.:bigups

Did you use emory cloths? Or fine-grit paint sandpaper? Did you do it by hand? Thanks for the info!

I used a proper metal polishing hand sander. It looks like an angle grinder.
I used the course and medium and buffing wheels, with the Grey clay bar or polish that came with it. Then finished off by hand with the purple metal polish.

I use Eagle One (click here) (http://www.eagleone.com/_products/0,1030605.asp) for exhaust tips and heavy duty chrome bumpers on 1980`s American cars (like my old Buick Electra!)
This stuff is cheap and works wonders on exhaust tips. Never fails; even the worst cases.

Cheers,
Thanks AMP01,
I just recently visited L.A. A friend of mine took me on the ride of my Life through some canyons near Malibu, in an ACS DFC equipped M5.
I have now since ordered that electroniclly controlled suspension. It should be here in around 3 weeks.
I stayed with friends on the water at Malibu. Nice place.

A unique "jeweler`s rouge" formula removes rust and grime to produce a maximum shine on all metal surfaces. Eagle One Mag & Aluminum Polish utilizes mild polishing agents to remove oxidation, rust and surface grime. Do NOT use on delicate show chrome surfaces; it will scratch.
Sounds a bit course.
