Can I please get some power washer reccomendations for a PW around 1400-1600 psi that cost no more than $150. I had a Karcher from QVC and it fried on me today. I need to get a new one ASAP.

I finally upgraded (after three Karchers in a year) to an electrical from Hotsy. Much more money.

I think the Karcher is as good as any in that category.

Three Karchers in a year? That is terrible, I will definitely go with something else, Harbor Freight usually has some good prices as well as home Depot.

Karcher`s are pretty good but mine keeps losing o rings and water pisses out of the handle so i have to keep the trigger on at all times to prevent having a shower

I will be upgrading to a gurney electric some time

I bought a Husky 1650 from Home Depot and I really like it so far. Best product available b/t Lowe`s and Harbor Freight. It has a lot of good power and a detergent tank. It was $169. The only downside to electric products is the cords. The hose comes out the backside and the sprayer hooks to the front a good set up. `35 power cord and `25 sprayer hose. They have the same sprayer refurbished for $99 which would be a great deal but they were out.

I purchased a Troy Built model from Lowes about a year ago. It has a gasoline engine and produces 2 gpm/2350 psi, I am more than happy with it. One thing that I currently am wanting is a bendable wand. The one provided is stainless but has no flex, thus a person has to lower the wand angle (i.e. scrape your knuckles on the concrete) if using to effectively blast the upper wheel wells. Simply my observation!!

I use a Karcher electric for detailing primarily and I also have a Troy Built 2850 psi 6.75 hp 2.6 gpm which I primarily use on houses and driveways etc. When I have to I`ll use it on cars, but of course I turn the pressure down considerably because I wouldn`t want to blow the paint off of cars.

AutoNova, I bought a Karcher 330M maybe 2 years ago from BJ`s for ~$150. The thing totally kicks butt for my needs. It`s rated at 1400psi.

If you are capping yourself at $150, I don`t know how many other choices there are that will offer better durability.
