Or so they claim:

Has anyone tried this? It would be interesting to see whether the manufacturer`s claims can be borne out.

I don`t know if I would call that a "dressing". Looks something like clear urethane paint to me.

This product has come up a couple of times before: http://www.autopia.org/forums/search.php?action=showresults&searchid=223780&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending

AFAIK, though, there was never any followup (no one ever tried it and reported back).

I was thinking the same thing?:nixweiss As always, I`m always trying new products, so I`ll at least look into this one.

I did some pre-production testing of this product for Enduralast last February. It did last 8 months on a non-daily driver that never parallel parked ( curb rash). The prep is extensive but application tools provided worked quite well. Here is a picture of this product appearance after one week.

After application all the tires needed was a wash and they appeared has though they were just detailed normally ( tire shine). I must stress the importance of a very good prep as instructed by the product. Poor prep will not allow coating ( rubber-like) to properly adhere to tire with resulting in flaking off of coating. The picture is of the non-glitter dressing. I still have the glitter kit but this is a little wild for my taste right now. I am thinking about doing a diluted glitter application some time in the future ( on one of those boring winter evenings).;)

I bought it last month. It costs $19.95 plus 6.95 for shipping. I decided I didn`t want a high gloss on my pickup truck. I tried 1Z and am real happy with it. If anybody wants to buy the Enduralast from me, it is new and in the box. I will sell it for $20.00 including the shipping. E-mail me at spurbarranch@att.net
