Which kinds of applicators have more "bite" for applying polish and cleaners? I`m guessing it would either be terry or MF applicators. And for waxes that don`t require that "bite" foam will do? Am I right or wrong?

I`m also guessing that "terry" cotton would have more bite than the "terry" microfiber that we know. Seems like MF sometimes has a hard time scratching surfaces, but I bet cotton fibers are a little bit bigger and would scratch, or polish when lubricated with a polish.
just a guess though
