View Full Version : Final Detail usage question

I have read about several extraneous uses for quick detailers. Such as: Mix with QEW, mist on PC pad before buffing, use between layering of wax/sealants.

So my question is, since Final Detail contains some oils, would I do better to get some FI for the above uses?

Thanks,

Brad

Yeah, even though FD is my favorite QD, I suspect it wouldn`t be the first choice for a "multi purpose" QD.

FI or EO W&S would probably be a better choice.

As an experiment, I had mixed a 50/50 solution of Meguiar`s FD and Poorboys S&W into 32 oz spray bottle as a QD and I have to say it worked out great. It really left the surface clean but yet left a nice gloss. :xyxthumbs

I think you would be fine to go with all of those except layering with sealants and honestly, unless you are using Zaino or Klasse, I think it would be just fine- ie Blackfire, Platinum, EX, etc.

I think the bonding issues with the trace amounts of silicone in FD have been blown out of proportion.
