Alright, I have been reading alot about using Upp as a topper over aio/sg.

I have a few questions about this combo.

1. Is this combo better on dark or light colors?

2. Does Upp create a wetter look then s100 or Souveran?

3. Does Upp last longer than s100?

4. Has anyone tried s100 or Souveran over upp?

I also have read that some of you are putting Einszett Glanz wax over the Klasse twins. Any comments on this combo?

I am currently using AIO-SG- then S100 or Souveran :bow as a topper on a red Dodge Dakota 4x4

I am very happy with my combo but would like to take it to the next level. I have a feeling I will be buying more products this winter for next year experiments:nixweiss

I haven`t topped SG with UPP, but I have used it over AIO.

Here are a few shots. You decide.

I`ve been using that combo for awhile on my cars. It doesn`t really matter if you use it on dark or light cars. It looks good on both. I don`t think there is any such thing as "better".

UPP looks great all by itself. In fact, I don`t know of anything that looks better than 3 layers of UPP. Its a sealant and will last longer than S100. I top my UPP with S100 anyway just because I`m a slave to habit. It may or may not make it look better, but it can`t hurt. I mainly do it because of the fact that S100 rinses so clean when it gets wet. It greatly reduces the posibility of water spots and other problems.

On red you are going to love using UPP. You don`t really need the SG if you are using UPP. SG is more durable and I use it in the winter time, but UPP is still pretty good. Unless you are going to be able to resist touching up the car every month or so then it really doesn`t matter which you use. SG is a more sterile shine than UPP, but SG with a coat of S100 looks a lot like one coat of UPP. I would suggest playing around with it so you can see for yourself. :bigups

I use that combo for the winter. I am very pleased with. I figure suffer thru 2-3 coats of SG (after AIO) for durability and then continue to top with UPP. I completely agree with Jngrbrdman.

With the right preparation, I would honestly doubt that you would see a discernable difference with PUPP as opposed to S100 or Souveran. I personally think there is a point where paint looks as good as it is going to look and no matter what minute differences you tweak in toppers, its almost impossible to really tell a difference. I can definitely see a difference in a red car with Zaino and a red car with Souveran. However, I see no real difference in a red car with AIO, 3 coats SG, PUPP, Souveran as opposed to AIO, SG, Souveran. Just my $.02 though.
