Products used:

-QEW

-Klasse AIO/SG (using wipeon/wipeoff method)

-Eimann Fabrik Sapphire Tire Gel (amazing stuff)

-Eagle One Wet Wipe N Shine

-cheapo Microfiber towels from Wal-Mart

I used only one coat of SG, I`m currently waiting for it to cure before I apply second coat. I am going to go with 3 coats of SG then top it off with some S100.

I am incredibly impressed with all the products. Even though my car is brand new, the AIO *really* helped restore the quality of the paint. Misting the applicator pad with the Eagle One is a great tip.

I know I missed a few areas, my wheel-wells didn`t get cleaned well enough. I was less than enthusiastic about using my MF towels to clean them since they were so filthy.

Biggest problem - the horrible orange peel! That and that I kept dropping my applicator pad (but thankfully fell on the dry side each time).

and I apologize for the underexposed pictures, after I get the car completely finished I`ll take better daylight pics.

That last reflection shot on the hood is awesome!

Good photography skills, each shot has a unique angle that really shows off your work.

What camera were you using? They are very sharp.. could be from the low/non compressed images.

Nice!

When can I come over and drive that bad boy? I noticed your orange peel problem in that 3rd picture (the reflection of the house).

I usually clean my wheel wells and underbody at the power washes. It works really well.

Might want to give the 56K people an warning though... I count nearly 2MB.

Yeah, you`re right. I`m sorry, I tried to edit my subject line but it won`t let me. Can a moderator do it for me please?

beautiful car and detail work. Saw an Evo at the 2004 car show in SF. Sat in it. LOVED it. Must be fun to drive.

Yeah, it is clearcoated.

But it is simply depressing to witness how much poorer the quality of the paint is on this car than my `03 Audi I recently sold. I joined this forum because I knew I`d need all the help in the world to make this ugly car look its best. :D

About the Eimann Fabrik Sapphire Tire Gel...

How did you apply it?

I know the directions state different times you should buff it to get the desired look.. Some people even apply it two times from what I`ve heard..
