Detailing manuals and videos – Which have you purchased? Are they any good?
Give a review please. I am thinking of buying the rightlook video for $300. Anybody have that one? Are they any good?

Hmmm.... I did some research on this awhile back when we were looking at opening an Autopia book store. I know that Meguiar`s has some good videos that I was looking at getting. There were a couple more that David recommended.... I can`t think of the names. I know he knows of a few though. I haven`t been able to find any of them off the shelf, but I know they are on Amazon.com and places like that. I`ll see if I can find my notes on this little venture. I had authors and titles of good references all written down.

When I opened our shop about a year ago, I bought a set of detailing business guides from Frank Canna of Mirror Finish Detailing. Here`s a link to his website...

There`s plenty of really good information not only about detailing but marketing, etc.
I`m still using them and I highly recommend them.

Meguiar`s "How-To Remove Paint Defects" (http://www.autopia.org/display.php?file=videotoc.htm)
Let me know how it works out for you. You will need a cable/DSL connection and RealVideo installed.
