I had the left front fender painted on the TT a little over a month ago. I just used Zaino on it for the first time since then. We`ll be leaving for a few days and I would like to put the car cover on in the heated garage while we`re gone...3 days at most. Kids and dogs are still home. Is it safe to cover it after painting? There are no horizontal surfaces on the fender. The cover wouldn`t lay on the fender, but next to it. The cover is an Audi factory cover.

Thanks for your help.

If the car and the cover are both clean, I see no reason why you can`t. It`ll keep the dust off. I guess you`re doing it to keep the dogs and kids off the car? You`re better off locking the garage......:D

I suggest you ask the painter. When I had a Porsche repainted a few years back, the painter recommended no car cover for 90 days. Depends on the paint, etc., but better safe than sorry.
