I`m planning on purchasing a pc during the holidays. I found this pc/combo kit online. Is this a good deal? Any help would be appreciated.

Decent deal.
I would get the pc kit from www.coastaltool.com for $120 which comes with the pc, backing plate and counter weight
Then go back to TOL for 6 pads/$45 (I would get 2 white, 2 black, 2 yellow).
Should be about $180 after shipping and all, and you`ll get more pads.
I don`t see many use the scrub brush or bonnets

Those are 7.5 " pads .. is the counter wieght going to be ok or should he look at 6" from CMA? Little more money but its the size everyone seems to use?

The 7.5" pads and 6" counter weight works fine for me.

Agree with Louisan Jeeper. This is the same set-up I have and it works well.

I bought mine from lowe`s for $109, came with a crappy pad which I reccomend throwing away, don`t even bother with it because it`s not well made, comes with 6" counterweight, wrench to change pads, and instructions, hehe.
The pad that came with mine was white. I used it once and when I got done washed it out the next day, I spun dry it on my PC and it split in 3 off the machine:eek:
The PC is a great tool, with the right pads and product combo you can great some outstanding results:xyxthumbs ,,,,,,,91

I got the screw on white pad with mine too .. but I used it only to set on a MF towel to take off wax .. werked great for that even held on to the cloth really well. But by the looks of it .. thats the only use I will have for it.

What`s the difference between the pads that are included with the combo kit, and the pads that you are recommeding?
