Need help from you detailing gurus....

Detailing a metallic blue BMW, and I`ve got water spots all over that I just can`t get rid of! I`ve tried Claymagic, SMR, AIO, Perfect-it II rubbing compound, PC`d it with the above products, nothing`s taking it off! Could they be acid rain etchings?

Help! What other products can I use to take these spots off?

How long did you work on the spots? I witnessed Mike Phillips helping a fellow Autopian with water spots on a black BMW and they worked on the hood alone for an hour with PC`s-that`s two guys with their own PC`s! I know he mentioned later that he spent 12 hours doing the rest of the car the next day and you could still see some faint spots. I believe he was using DACP on the hood but not sure about the rest of it.

Not to say you aren`t working hard on the spots but it did take them quite some time working with the PC. Water spots are a royal pain. If you aren`t having any luck with the products you are currently using you might want to try some DACP.

Best of luck with those darn spots.
