How cold is too cold? I have some rock chips on my hood that I wanted to take a stab at, but I`m wondering if it`s too cold out for the paint to adhere appropriately. I`m Portland, OR, and the high temps range from the mid-40`s to the mid-50`s this time of year. Would it make any difference if I heated up the surface with a hair dryer before and after, as a prep and while the paint is drying?

Thanks!

John

Anyone?

I`m thinking it`s too cold, but I`d like some feedback from someone with more experience with touchup paint.

Thanks!
