Any real benefits to anyone of them? I currently use the chenille from P21S kit to apply wax and foam pad for polish.

I use foam applicators for waxes, and I use terry towels to apply and remove polishes. Terry towels make the polishes work a little harder than foam.

Same here.

I use microfiber towels to remove wax though.

I use foam to apply most everything, unless I want some more aggressive polishing action, where I`ll use terry or MF.

These days, I remove everything with MF.

A while back, Nick T. tested various applicators (foam, terry, MF)on his black BMW and found that NONE of them, by themselves, marred the finish. But note that that was HIS car and HIS applicators. It pays to check your finish with magnification and see if what you`re using is marring it.

Oh, and the above is for basecoat/clear, ss is a different animal.

I have my own "pro vs. con" on each applicator type but am too lazy to post it.

I like cotton terry for most application uses as I seem to get more uses out of them. Foam is plenty safe but I just hate them and use them begrudgingly.

If you have the $$, MF can`t be beat IMO.

That`s my questions, I use MF to remove everything but I am thinking to use MF to apply polish and wax too. Any comments?:up

I use Mf applicators to apply and MF towels to remove. I use a MF wash mit and a waffle weave towel for washing and drying. I use Mf towels for QD and I use old MF for door jams and engine. The only time anything but MF touches my paint is foam pads for the PC.

I found that using Meguiar`s High-Tech Foam Applicator will give me an even result whether applying abrasive polish, non-abrasive polish or wax. For hard to reach edges, I use AG Perfect Polishing Cloth. For buffing, I use MG Ultimate Wipe.
