I was wondering why paste wax`s are supposed to be more durable than liquids? Is it because the liquids have additives (thinners) in them to make them liquid? Does this only apply to carnuba based products, since I have never seen a polymer based paste?

Precisely, more additives with the liquid....More user friendly, but lacking longevity.....the easier it is to use, the more you dont mind using it, the more its used, the more you buy....No marketing phenomena there...

I am not sure about more user friendly seeing that most pastewax such as P21S and Poorboy`s Natty wipes one and right off with no effort. But I do agree with the "more you buy" part.
