Vinegar is good, just mix 50% Water , 25% white vinegar and 25% alcohol.

Use that and than buff with MF(Micro Fiber) towel.:xyxthumbs

You can use regular glass cleaner on the inside, and again buff with MF towel. I do not like the smell of the Vinegar on the inside. :wavey

Hi mrbean,

See this thread on my forum for more information (http://www.showcargarage.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=294)

The short answer for easy removal of heavy build-up of all kinds of ick on window glass is,

Meguiar`s #4 Heavy-Cut Cleaner

Use by hand with a piece of terry cloth towel.

Use by rotary buffer with a W-7006 maroon cutting pad.

Been doing it for years and years and years... never fails. Depending on how bonded the film is to the glass, you may have to use a little elbow grease to remove the build-up and polish the surface to a crystal clear high gloss but this product does work well.

You can also use #1 Medium-Cut Cleaner, or #49 Heavy-Duty Oxidation Remover.

All of these use diminishing abrasives which are aggressive enough to cut through the years of built up ick, but will not scratch the glass surface.

(The more I type to these types of questions, the more of my how-to book I give away for free.... man am I stupid).
