What size PC pad do you use?

I use a 6.5" but am thinking of moving to a 7.5"

I use both but majority of a job is done with LC 7.5.

7.5" Pad size, 6" backing pad + 1/4" all round clearance. The oversized foam pad isolates the backing plate from contact with the car`s surface, so you can work without fear of damaging the finish with an exposed baking plate (as you can tell from my signature I need all the help I can get) :doh

I like that cushion too! I use a 5: plate with 6" pads now. The 6" plate sits way too close to the edge for me on a 6" pad. :D

Well, I did two cars using my new 7.5" pads and I love them. I can not see me goign back to the 6" ones any time soon.
