Oh man, I just realized...

I must have spent close to $1000.00 this year on detailing products. I`m addicted. :) Is there a support group for Detailholics Anonymous? :D

I like everyone else here on Autopia have tried a lot of many different products recommended by fellow Autopia members. From waxes to sealants.

I find myself determined to try the next best thing to achieve that Autopia shine and durability we all want to get.

It is the life of a true Autopian.

Thank you BradB for making Autopia what it is today. A forum of detailing enthusiasts who have found a place of refuge. To share each one`s own experiences in regards to detailing.

With Aloha,

Ranney :)

I`m estimating that between web sites and local stores I`ve spent around $750 to $800 since last spring.

At first I told myself that I wouldn`t spend more than $20. Over $200 later here I am, waiting to buy more products and a PC.

Why did I have to find this site AND get a new black car? Woe is my bank account. Maybe I won`t buy the girfriend any presents or maybe I can get her the PC and say that it`s for both of our benefit.:)

About $1500, I`d say. I, too, am addicted.

I`ll figure out exactly how much when I do my taxes for the year...because I get to write them off!

Well over $1000 for sure!

Wow! That`s some mighty spending you guys are doing! I think I`ve only spent 4 or 5 hundred this year. I have restrained myself from spending a whole lot more though. :D

This year was mostly PC pad, MF, and Zaino restocking. Since there aren`t any products left I want to try, I spent about $105 this year.

Only about $500. Picked up a PC for 59.00 (pawn shops are great) that helped keep cost down a little.

I`m guessing about $750. I don`t want to actually add it up. :p

Portable tent, Zaino, PC and pads were the big ticket items. Don`t think I`ll be getting those next year. Barely used any Zaino, it goes a long way.

Hopefully next year will be less.

Yea the first 6 months to a year after finding autopia is murder on the bank account, Ecspecially if you have black.

I`m down to about $100-$150 this calendar year but I wasn`t into autopia and detailing too much for the first few months because I had a new puppy(more murder on account). Hey at least I got to experiment with alot of carpet cleaners.

Truthfully, I don`t even want to total it all up, it would be sickening! New PC & pads, more polish, more tire cleaner, more car shampoo, CBT and DF towels, new creeper seat, more plastic bins to keep it all in.......:D

Prolly close to $500 and no PC or pads .. that can wait now till spring and a new season. Chemicals I am good for outside of maybe trying S100 but hedging on it cuz of the cost and what sounds like low durability as a topper.
