I’d like to clear up some questions I have regarding polish/compound usage. I’ve searched extensively but still have a couple of questions.

1) Does this progression of products (most abrasive to least) to use in treating scratches, swirls, etc. seem logical?: SSR3 or 3M RC 39002, then DACP, then SSR2, then SSR1 or 3M SMR 39009, then maybe a GEPC type product. – Of course always use least aggressive first.

2) I’ve seen posts that implies 3M SMR contains fillers yet the label reads ‘Contains no wax or silicone’. ??

3) What products are suitable for using with a Wool Pad.

Thanks for any input.

Your line up is correct but you could go straight from the 3M compound to the 3M swirl remover. No need for all of the other stuff.

3M has a very very small amount of fillers. I always use Klasse AIO after any 3M swirl remover application which removes the fillers and corrects the last few blemishes that the fillers were hiding (if any).
