"cheese cloth" anymore for detailing? I never hear it mentioned.

Nebraska99 - Heh heh, *THAT* sure takes me back to the day! Ah yes, cheesecloth and Classic Car Wax [nostalgic pause as Accumulator remembers how the wax smelled and the cloth felt....]

[Fast-forward 30 years] Nah, there are SO many MUCH softer alternatives that I doubt you`ll find anyone here using cheesecloth. I sure wouldn`t want anything that coarse touching MY paint!

True, new products like microfiber have taken over and left things like cheesecloth in the dust. Microfiber is softer, stronger, washable, and has more uses than just removing wax.

Ahhh yes.... cheesecloth, cotton diapers, and flannel by the yard. Combine that with Rain Dance, Polyglycoat, and the 2-stage acidic wheel cleaners from Eagle One and you can have a retro detailing party.

Next you will be telling me not to wear my lime green leisure suit anymore?

You can wear it, but only if only if your Austin Powers..
