Are the headlights plastic or glass? If they are plastic, you can use a polish like Renovo, Plast-X, or 3M`s Plastic Polish.

Or just hit them with some regular polish. That has always worked for me. I usually use Griots #3

On my stepson`s 97 Mustang whice were heavily ozidated, I used Blue Magic Liquid Metal Polish. After several passes, the ozidation was removed. They looked clear for a change....Andrew

Novus #3 if necessary followed by #2, excellent if you have a PC with a 4" foam pad :up Can spray them when all done with #1

Bluemagic`s plastic & plexiglass cleaner worked!!! Real easy. I just used a white terry cloth and my hands. No machines!

I have used Simichrome polish(MC Shop) on tail lights and dash lenses. I know it`s a metal polish, but it worked on the plastic. The last instrument cluster lens job that I did, I used Meguiar`s # 17 Clear plastic cleaner. It made the lens look new. I did the work by hand. I rubbed perpendicular(across) to the scratch, instead of with the scratch. Use a non scratching cloth(MicroFiber) or your finger, to work out the scratch, then a final wipe with a MF. It worked for me...

The blue worked, but not as good as I thought. My brother told me to use 3m. He`s used it, but it only last like a month. I was thinking to put a sealer afterwards.
