There really is some nice paint under there. I`m not interested in scratching the hell out of it in the process of getting my brown armor off.

Advise, oh mighty experts of Autopia!

Thank you.

LMAO!!!

First off, if you got a pressure washer, warm that thing up:D um, hmmmmm let`s see, after you get all the mud off, take a brush to the undercarriage, wheels and tires!! I"m talking about the brush at the car wash. Next wash it as you would normally, clay, SMR job maybe??? and wax:confused: DAYM!!! looks my kinda fun,LOL!!!

I am sure there is a nice ZJ under all that mud. I would go to a self service car wash if I were you. My wife would have a cow if I washed it in the driveway. Don`t use the car wash brush, instead dissolve the mud with water pressure.

Man I`m sure you had a good time wheeling.

If you don`t have a pressure washer or don`t want to go to a self service car wash, just use your hose to wet down all the mud. Let it all get saturated and then it should be easy to hose off.

Yep, what the others are saying:xyxthumbs Start by doing as much as you can WITHOUT touching it. Let the water remove as much as possible without mechanical (scrubbing/normal wash technique) action. I`d even spray soap solution on it, let it dwell, rinse and repeat a few times before starting the "usual" washing process.

That`s a good idea about getting some soap on it first. I`ll try that.

Light rinse just to rewet everything

Get soap on it somehow

Let soak.

Start pressure washing

Undercarriage will be fun... :( Gotta wait for a storm to hit and flood the streets so I can splah and spray the undercarriage clean.

Thanks for the help guys. It`s a total blast getting it like that, and a total ***** getting it clean again.
