Well, I am now the proud parent of a lil baby PC 7424 from Coastal Tool!!:bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce :bounce

I was getting ready to change from the 5 to the 6 weight, but when I removed the 5 weight I noticed it had a groove (on the backside) that the 6 didn`t. Now, I know "it`s just a groove no biggie," but there is a lil black plastic nipple that (I assume) was used to line up the 5 weight on the PC and this nipple won`t allow the 6 weight to lie flat? If I had a digital I would shoot some pics. I didn`t try hard but it seems like it will just pull off?

Any ideas?

Thanks

i wondered this too, anyone know? I just put the 6 on and tightened it down so that it was almost flat.

I just did what you did. Was going to get the dremel tool out, but decieded I would hold off. I tightened the 6 down and its sitting flat and snug. Maybe its a vibration bushing to keep the 2 metals from making noise?

Hopefully someone will chime in that knows.
