My tint shop messed up and left water/chemical stains on the pilar between the rear windows and back window. I went to 3 car washes and none would clean it cause they said, the glue can come off and the fabric could start drooping. Anybody know of a good way to clean it or even if it`s possible. I don`t want to have to replace the whole thing, of course the tint shop will pay but taking apart the car to replace is not something I want.

The car is a 2003 Honda Accord Sedan.

Thanks

Alex

You can also search on headliner or head liner. There should be a few threads. The big this is don`t get the headliner very wet. It`s just cardboard with fabric glued to it. You best bet is to take the tint company up on the new headliner. I don`t thing it`s to big a deal to do.

The headliner material is pretty easy for most trim shops to match so I would take up the tinters offer to replace. Removal of headliner is pretty simple and any reputable trim shop should be able to replace so that you never know that it was done.
