Hey guys...need to know one silly thing...



A wax is a wax... a polish is a polish....but wot is a quick detailer exactly, wot does it do, and what is it made out of...



please no sarcastic replies because i can see that coming hehe

Ok, no replies yet...I`ll give this a start and others can add what I missed......



a quick detailer is a spray product for the paint which some use for in-between carwash touch-ups, or to boost shine/slickness after a wash and prolong the protection.



I`m probably going to get bit for this one, but I think of a QD as a watered down wax that you can just spray on/wipe off.



QDs can be Carnauba based [natural wax] or synthetic based which sometimes contain silicone, but some are synthetic and do not...not sure what they are, though.
