I like to rub it in with your finger, let it set for a while, then have at it with a tooth brush. Sometimes a cloth just won`t get in the nooks and crannies.

Use Klasse AIO and you don`t have to worry using peanut butter. AIO won`t stain trims.

Apply the peanut butter with an old toothbrush (some detailing brushes I tried were too stiff). Scrub it lightly...use more time to remove more wax...not more pressure. Do this before you wash the car...wiping it off with a rag will leave residue and TRUST ME you don`t want that. Then use some back to black or 303 or something.

Is it best to use smooth or crunchy (bit of extra abrasion!!) ?????

why don`t you save the peanut butter for after your finished detailing and just use a QD on the trim after waxing. If that doesn`t do it a detailing brush with QD or an APC will definitely get it. Like someone else mentioned AIO on the trim is nice, if you apply this before waxing you will not have this problem.

Check out this thread:

I have had great success with this method and a few others have told me that they have too.

Good luck!

I agree, eat the peanut butter when you are done detailing.

I`m never using blitz without taping the trim again, but when you get wax stains peanut butter is often the only thing that will get rid of it. Yes it`s better to avoid the situation entirely, but if it happens peanut butter is your friend!
