Just bought the PC setup from coastaltool and I was surprised at how much vibration I felt at settings 5 to max (6). I was using the 6" counterweight, and the PC hook/loop with a CMA yellow pad...also ran it like that with the white polishing pad that screws directly in. There was an awful lot of vibration/shaking at the higher speeds. Am I doing something wrong or does it just do that. It did the trick, but I figured for the amount of money it would be smoother.

It`s suppose to vibrate. It`s the orbital effect if I`m not mistaken. I`ve only cranked mine up to 4 and the shakes are there.

Used my PC a couple of times now and it`s normal. You get used to it.

Because of the random rotation and the power (amps) of this quality machine, you will feel vibration. What did the gentleman for Meguiar`s (Forrest) call these things - "jiggle machine". :D

Love my PC! :bounce

Do you use the handle that comes with it? The farther away from center you are the more you feel the vibrations. I don`t even use the handle any more, I just hold on the the black grip on the tool itself... reduces the vibrations a significant amount.
