I need to do something to protect my rocker panels, at least the first foot or two behind the wheel.

I see TOL is selling a paint protection tape called BodyGuard.

Anyone have experience with this stuff? Or something like it?

I currently have ARMORGLOVE installed on my Lexus SC430.

It covers the front bumper, hood (wrapped) headlights, fender by headlights, rocker panels, side mirrors and door cups.

Best investment I made! It was installed by ARMORGLOVE personnel, as this is not a real do-it-yourself type product and requires special tools and application technique.

Here`s a pic of it, I highlighted the end on the hood with polish, as it`s very difficult to see on dark cars.

There are several mfg/dealers of 3M Scotchcal film, but I found that ARMORGLOVE does the best work. Others include: XPEL, STONEGUARD, INVISASHIELD etc.

If your car is prone to rock chips, get it now!
