I ordered mine about a month ago and I was told that they would start delivery in mid-December....

These pics were taken in Pennsylvania last Friday!

For those who may not know, the GTO will be Pontiac`s new Muscle Car for 2004.

2-door, rear-wheel-drive, Corvette (LS1) Drivetrane, 350 horsepower. 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.

Bad Boy.

My pictures are showing up all over the place. Not to burst your bubble, but the top four pictures are pictures my friend took in Illinois last week and I am hosting them on my sight for him. The truck was on Interstate 80 heading east in Illinois. Where did you read they were taken in Pennsylvania?

I agree. I would be really interested in this car if they took some of the styling of the older GTOs and added it to the new line. Nice car, though, and good luck.

Worst mistake GM could have made is reviving the GTO name. It seems like a kick *** car but will never do justice to the GTO name. GM has a thing for killing popular nameplates. Remeber the 442 and the Hurst/Olds? And yes,....... I do have a vested interest.

I think it looks good, particularly the interior. The problem with retro cars (New Beetle, Thunderbird, MINI, etc.) is that they`re hard to update stylewise.

The GTO is a rebadged GM Holden Monaro developed and built in Australia. Have a look here:http://www.holden.com.au/www-holden/action/vehicleentry?vehicleid=12

HSV also make a modified version: http://www.hsv.com.au/main.html (look under Coupe)

It will be fun seeing one on the street in my 2003 Mach 1. To me the Mach 1 looks the "muscle car" part better than the GTO. Wanna race?? lol J/K Nice car but my Mach is faster. Was it that way in the 60`s?? Don`t know...wasn`t born till 80

Now if they`d just come out with a retro-styled Chevelle with an LS-1, all would be right with the world.

Hey Guys, just wanted to throw something out there. There is a tuner company who will have a ready to go aero kit by the time the GTO`s arrive at dealers that will give the GTO a retro/modern touch. I will find the source and post it. Reports say it`s pretty hot. As nice as the GTO is, I`ve instructed my brother to put my name on the first 2005 Black Mustang that arrives at Tyler Ford. Nice day to all.
