Anyone ever done a fundraiser ?

So I had nothing better to do this Sat. afternoon, `cept think about detailing cars, and promoting my business.....And I thought to myself, what if I was to do a fundraiser with one of the local high schools, or soccer clubs, baseball, etc...I would have these kids, including my own who are detailing apprentices, wash cars. My Two boys would have exclusive rights to wheel cleaning, tire dressing, and window cleaning (Outside only). Now I thought I would include the windows and wheels, and dressing, as a baiter. I invisioned printing up some more business flyers, with starting prices, services, and a 10% discount for future detailing, and another 10% going to the high school, etc of choice. I guess Im looking to see if anyone on Autopia has ever done a fundraiser, and had some luck with potential clients returning ....?

Any tips ? Bad idea all together ? Good idea ? etc....:nixweiss
