I was wondering what site has the best deals on pads. such as the orange power pads, meg. pads, and regular yellow and white pads.

Top-of the Line sells quality PC pads at a good price. Excellent service and extremely fast shipping. :xyxthumbs

I agree about TOL`s attractive pricing. Just be careful what you order. I got the Lake County [Country?] variable-contact pads for less than other sites charged, and am very happy with them. But also went for some of their other/generic pads, and will be returning those. Do better than me: Do your homework. The variable-contact pads are :bigups .

I "got" a PC for my birthday (haven`t ordered yet) which will probably come from Coastaltool.com. (this is still the best buy, right?) Anyway, the bundle comes with a velcro backing plate, so I`ll need some pads eventually.

Which Top of the Line pads are good and which ones aren`t? I saw 7.5" Lake Country pads, and some other 6" pads which don`t say they are Lake Country.

7.5" Lake Country pads (http://www.topoftheline.com/7durvelpad.html)

6" unknown brand pads (http://www.topoftheline.com/porcabvelpad1.html)

Are these 6" pads inexpensive, quality pads, or is there a better value elsewhere?

Thanks, Kev

Yep, these are the ones that seem to be same as CMA`s -- the variable-contact pads, and I have been very happy with them.

Yep, for me these are the LOSERS. They are a little cheaper. But flat and bulky for me; for me, they vibrate all over the car finish. These are the ones I`m going to return to TOL, thanks to my stupid/rash purchase, and hope to exchange them for the TOL "7.5-inch Lake Country Velcro Pads."

But I`m still a relative newbie at this buffing/polishing jazz, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

And congrats on the wonderful B`day gift, CRXSi90. :up

I just recieved my 7.5" pads from TOL yesterday, can`t wait to use these things. I ordered 6 and paid $45 for them, can`t beat that deal.

The 6" pads from TOL are made by Buff and Shine.

I have both the 7.5 ( Lake Country) lambswool and Buff and Shine 6" foam pads. Both work well for me and seem to be holding up well.

I will be ordering from TOL some 7.5 foam soon.

Why am I just learning about this now? I even called lake country to see what vendors they had other than CMA. Well now I know where to shop for pads.
