i am in the process of purchasing a pc. i happened to stop by Lowes yesterday and noticed that they had a PC 7336. it said that it was a random orbital sander/polisher and it looked exactly the same as the PC 7424 that i have seen online. however, it did not mention anything about being dual action. what`s the difference between the 7424 & the 7336???

They are almost the same. The details (along with a bunch of other info on the PC) can be found here:

They are the same thing. The 7336SP (Lowes) already has a 6" counterweight and includes a small foam buffing pad. A search will turn up a ton of info on the two.

Thanks! I`ve been spending a bunch of time in the last month reading everything on here I can. I finally came across a question I could answer (thanks to your PC thread... thanks! :))
