Saw last evening a new product in the Auto section:
Blue and white label, with a gold, blue and white oval proclaiming: "Premium Detailing Towel".
4 Pack $4.86
25"x15" Color: Royal Blue
The little tags say: Made in Bangladesh
Says 100% Cotton...And it has the Cotton Logo on the pack, twice.
I saw them and returned to my car to get an AOL CD (I carry them in the glovebox for situations like this). Walked back in and rubbed. CD Test - Passed
I washed them this morning to remove any sizing...Whew, do they bleed! I went through two wash cycles to wash away the excess dye. Line dried them and snap-fluffed them. Nice.
While these are no way near Koala quality, they are clearly a couple steps above the generic white Pakistani 14x17 towels you see everywhere. The weight of the towel and feel of the terry loops are good. Holding them up toward a light source and you can see the difference from the Pakistani towels. I`ll keep my 14x17`s for the really nasty work...or give them to my sister.
I like these tpe of towels because I can spare my MFs from certain types of dirty work...windows, tires and wheels, engine cleaning, trim, polish removal, et al.
For what I use them for, I recommend them. :xyxthumbs
