Ok, so I have a `98 green Subaru Legacy. The paint on the front end is horrid, with nicks and cracks all across the front of the hood and bumper. The sunroof fairing, after I removed it, left bits of nothing but primer, and some bare metal. I`ve hit most of the spots up with touchup to prevent any further rust.
I also removed the factory roof rack(didn`t like it), and have 17 silicone filled holes in my roof.
So, hopefully this fall I will have the money to have the roof fixed, and the car painted. My question is, what is the best way of finding a quality shop to do the work, and is there anything specific I should ask for? I`m thinking I might change the color of the car, but to what, I`m not sure yet. And, what`s a decent price for a complete paint job(not including the roof fixing)? Thoughts on this?
