I just picked up a new toy a 1995 Red Miata with a healthy share of light to medium swirls. I wanted to clay the car and then hit it with 3M SMR and then Zaino it with an S-100 topper. Is SMR a filler or does it rely on abrasives to hide swirls. What do you think I should use on the car?

Let me know

MOST SMR`s contain fillers. I use 3M`s PI-III MG to remove (not hide them). Got it HERE (http://www.handsontools.com/store/show_product/?product_id=3825)

By hand or PC or...? If you`re not sure about this, you may want to start off with something milder (SMR) first. I`m not sure how strong PI-III is, but it sounds relatively mild too(?). If those don`t do it, DACP or fine cut would be the next step. Just be aware that SMR by hand is really mild.
