I`m hoping this thread might become useful to newbies and new Zaino users. I have a white car, using ZFX and Z2. I started using that combo on a pretty flawless finish. But after reading Autopia for a while, I bought some Z5 -- which I`ve layered onto the Z2 periodically. It does seem to reduce the tiny swirls. My theory is that Z5 is not strong enough to reduce swirls in the paint, but can hide the swirls that are within the Zaino itself -- i.e., swirls that may have been introduced during washing or QDing. Is that the general understanding?

Yes, reduce the micro swirling in the Zaino layer. It doesn`t really help with swirls in the paint though.
