Can anyone suggest a product that can be easily wiped and remove from the surface of an engine block. I`ve managed to clean the whole engine bay and everything looks new except for the block.:(

My block looks like dull aluminum (not white) and I really want to get it looking new again.

Would love to hear what has worked for others and feel free to post pics.

Thanks everyone.

You could try some wheel cleaner for aluminum. Or buy some aluminum polish and geeet busy. :)

look up production car care on the internet....if they are near you ask them for their foaming aluminum brightener....I used to use it on my 4 wheelers...made em look brand new....just use extreme caution when using...it will etch into glass and paint.

Unfortunately they cant ship the stuff cross country anymore after 9-11.
