Wax on the surface too soft?

Don`t know if it makes much sense, but as any of you had the feeling that even QDing w/ a MF cloth causes swirls? Barely visible but present? And after putting another coat of wax or a glaze it goes away? It`s definitely in the wax cause the surface (clear cote) is impeccable, no swirls or scratches.

Happens a lot and not just with waxes. I get micro marring with Zaino. I don`t think MF`s are causing it but they might.

this past winter I tested every MF known to Autopia (bought every major MF except CBT (unavail at that time)) and tested it under twin halogens using it dry, GEPC and FI on an AOL CD and guess what?



Everyone scratched the CD using it dry but none of them scratched using GEPC and Final Inspection.



The MF borders on all except CBT and DFT will micro scratch. So be careful there! This may be the problem you are seeing. But don`t know.
