View Full Version : Washing a car that has 5 coats of UPP

is comical. Trying to wet it down is impossible. No matter how much or long you soak the car the water sheets off. There is no standing or pools of water on any of the horizontal surfaces. I soak my mitt in water then I put it in the bucket of soap. Absolutely no pressure is needed to get the dirt off. Once the car is dried it is so slick. I`m thinking 1/2 more coats then a wax topper.

Hmm yeah, I think I`ll S&W mine today and put on another layer (2 so far, noticed no decrease in beading after the first wash which is surprising). :)

20 coats of UPP is a piece of cake groebuck!:lmfao. Oh yea,eventually I`ll get the "red wax".

Shameless plug...

I`ve gotten more than 7 layers of UPP on the same black car in the past, but red wax really blows me away.
