There`s someone at work that wants me to detail a silver MB E500. The car is only a few months old. I`m thinking of clay, UPC, VM then UPP. Since the car is so new I don`t wanna use DACP. I may use a SMR but I need to take a look at it first to see if it`s necessary. Think it`ll shine like a show car?

You can probley use Menzerna`s Finial polish or SMR since it doesnt have alot of swirls

The age of the vehicle is actually irrelevant. Use whatever polish is necessary to repair the damage to the paint - no more, no less. A 20 year old garage queen would probably be in better shape than a brand new car run through the automatic car wash (aka "the blender")...

After doing some research on polishes, I think if I get the deal, I`ll go with clay, UPC, Menzerna FP, UPP. I may try VM in the future, but FP seems like what I`m looking for. I got a chance to look at the vehicle and the paint was in pretty good condition. I could see some scratches in the paint that were in lines and luckily no visible swirls.
