Just wanted to know your opinion of Sonax Shampoo.

I have been using Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo but am looking for alternative. I bought and tried the Sonax Shampoo. It cleans ok but does not have much suds (same goes to AG Shampoo). It comes with a measuring cap at the base of the container. Inside the cap, there`s also a small packet of something which i don`t know what is it (the print is in German). Anyone has any idea?

I love sonax car shampoo. But like you I dont have many suds.

Other people here tell me they "If they had anymore suds they couldnt find their car". I dont know hy we aren`t getting alot of suds. I use Autopia`s sheepskin mitt. Maybe its the oils in the mitt. BUT I do like the shine that comes after using sonax, so in the end that is why I use it.As for the packet, I didnt see one.:nixweiss

I took advantage of the Autopia 30% off sale and bought three bottles based on the price after the discount and the recommendations here. Got it yesterday. A few people have reviewed it and enjoyed its results. I have read good things about it here and elsewhere.

If you do a search or look in the product review forum, you`ll find some good info on the subject.

I bought the Sonax shampoo from David last month. I have experienced just the opposite. I have the richest, longest lasting suds of any shampoo I have used (makes my hair feel soooo luxurious....wrong commercial:cool: ) Serious now. Thick sudsing lasting the entire wash, using the supplied measuring cup at the bottom of the bottle. I also really like the dispenser "straw".

Good move Spilchy. I had intended to pick up a couple of those discounted bottles, but you know how good intentions go.

You didn`t say if you get good suds with other shampoos, but if you have very hard water that will effect the shampoo`s ability to create suds.

I`ve used Sonax and thought it was ok. I bought it based on Car Care Specialties recommendation, but I like P21S better.

Didn`t get much suds but could be due to hard water as you`ve said. Anyway, i still like it as it cleans really well.

Also, i just checked out the review section and it turn out to be very positive. I can get it very cheaply over here as compared to other brands. So this is going to be my new best shampoo.

You may want to try Meguiars #62 wash. I see you are in Malaysia so I did some research. This guy sells Meguiars Professional Products. I don`t know if this is near you but you may want to research it.

What I have discovered is that SONAX Gloss Shampoo is a bit sensitive to hard water. The nice thing about it is that is you use a little more product in hard water conditions, you will get good suds and it remains free rinsing.

It remains my best selling shampoo, outselling P21S 4:1. I am looking into importing it in 1000 ml containers.
