I use too much product!

I`ve been detailing my new truck and some friends cars for about 6 months now. I`ve experimented with several top products, e.g. KLASSE twins, Meg`s pro products, S100, GEPC/SEPC, and Clearkote. I think my skills have improved, but I still have a tendency to use too much product. For some reason my brain equates more as better.



Anyone else have this problem?

Look at it the other way - your wallet equates that less is better. I noticed after I started using a PC for the DACP and polishing stages I started using a lot less product. I haven`t used the PC for wax application and removal - it just didn`t "feel" right when I tried.

I know what you mean. I just bought a pc and I still put on too much SG! That stuff goes on so clear it`s hard to tell if you have any product on the finish initially. I guess it`s a process we all have to learn. SG sure can be a bugger to take off when you put too much on.



I can`t say that I hate this learning process though. My vehicles just keep getting prettier and prettier. ;)
