I spent most of today working on my BLACK 2003 Dodge Ram. The truck is only two months old but there was enough water etching on the hood that I had to use Meguiar`s DACP to remove the the watermarks. The rest of the truck was pretty much OK and Mequair`s #9 did a nice job of removing minor swirls. I finished by applying Mequiar`s Medallion Premium Paint Protection. The truck looks darned good! I had ordered Blackfire, but I had the Meguiar`s on hand and thought what the heck. Eventually I`ll try the Blackfire. But for now (at least for the next couple of months) does anyone have suggestions for maintaining the Premium Paint Protection? It`s not all that hard to apply and to buff with a PC. I guess that I could just give it another coat when it needs it. I think that it`s a great product right now. But I don`t know how durable it is.

Meguiar`s Medallion Premium Paint Protection was my wax of choice for years. It seems like I think I have to wax about every 4 to 6 weeks and that kept the MPPP looking good on my red and black vehicles.
