View Full Version : Almost removed all the swirls, look inside.
Here`s how bad the car is swirled before I started...

Here it is after I used DACP with a CMA Yellow Pad on a PC, with the dial at 5.. I`m sorta disappointed since I wasn`t able to remove all of it like most of you guys do. Also after I did the DACP the owner of the car and I washed the car again, and we used what we thought was a 100% cotton terry towel..

Here it is with S100/P21S, you guys think I applied too much?

And here it is waxed and buffed..

Thanks, I tried to apply it really thin but I was like hmm I wonder if I`m applying anything cause I could hardly see it, so I put more.

Although you couldn`t get all the swirls out, the car still looks great.

Incredible !!! The owner must have been very happy !!! I love the mirrorlike reflections !
It still looks great. :xyxthumbs
The minor swirling in the second pic may have been a result of using DACP with a cutting pad. I observed a similar effect last week with that combo. Glaze hid most of it though. I would bet a swirl remover with a polishing pad would`ve taken care of it.
With S100/P21S you really don`t have to apply very much at all. Otherwise you`re just wasting it really. I partially go by feel when applying to judge when wax is getting thin on the applicator. Just wax on, wax off. :D

Great work! Marked difference between the before and after pics. I`m sure the owner was smiling from ear to ear upon seeing his ride.
I`ve experienced better results and a finer finish when I follow up DACP and yellow pad with SMR and white pad or still, DACP, but applied with a polishing or white pad.
You might want to try applying S100 using the Meguiar`s foam applicator pad. It seems to spread the wax more thinly and evenly.

DACP should contain diminishing abrasives, so it`s not really necessary for smr or #9 follow up. To take advantage of the diminishing abrasive, however, you really have to work the product until you can no longer see it on the paint--based off what I learned about it`s use in this forum.
