I will be putting AIO on after claying. Do I need to wash in between? The car is new. I am using Clay Magic.

Wash again to get all the clay residue off.

Even tho AIO will get all the residue off, I always wash again....

Anyone skip this wash with good results?

I never wash and have great results. I just clay, wipe down the car with a MF, and begin polishing.

My personal view is that if I were to use soap to lube, I`d wash, otherwise no.

I use QD to lube, never wash after, just straight to polish. Great results, and less work:)

Lube with QD, buff off each section -- maybe another spritz and buff again. Then straight on to another Z layer.

I just clay while I wash the car, the soapy water is a good lube. Cuts out extra steps!

If its dirty then wash it. If its not then you are fine. If you aren`t wiping off the car as you go then you will probably want to wash it. Even if you want to just go over it with QD again or something then that would work. Use your own judgement. If there is stuff on the surface that is going to grind into your paint when you polish then you`ll obviously want to wash. If the surface is clean and free of debris then there isn`t a reason. Only you know when your car needs to be washed.

JUst a good wipe down with a MF, as long as plenty of QD was used during the claying process. No problem; excellent results!
